Today we took a look at the all-new Nike SB Deconstruct pack. SB took three of its most popular and iconic silhouettes and stripped them down to the essential lines and features that have made them some of the most recognizable silhouettes in skateboarding. Without the standard textile lining and insulation, the Blazer, Janoski, and Dunk Low take on a more sophisticated look and feel – almost like a loafer or dress shoe. A soft, premium leather lining provides a comfortable fit, while the heel cup provides the majority of the shape and structure of the heel. The premium leather wraps the forefoot in supple leather that promises tons of board feel and durability. The thin, exposed lightweight foam gives each shoe a heritage look that refers back to Nike’s first running shoes. What’s truly gained through all this subtraction of excess is flexibility, clean lines, and an implied durability. We’re eager to see how these shoes break in, as they look right now, it would seem like a baseball glove – just getting better and better with time.

***We goofed in the video quoting the Blazer. The correct price on ccs for the Zoom Blazer Low is $75, making the Zoom Blazer Deconstruct $85. Sorry for the mixup!
